VATEUD is currently seeking applications for members to join our web development team.  As part of the VATEUD Web Developer team, you will be responsible for the creation, and maintenance of our website, and web services.  You will use your skills to present information in new, innovative, and creative ways. Your work will require a focus on compatibility, accessibility, and internationalisation.

Requirements:
•Strong logical and analytical thinking skills.
•Good problem solving skills and creativity.
•Accuracy and attention to detail.
•Knowledge of PHP, Ruby on Rails or any other MVC-based web scripting language.
•Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and other data storage solutions.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Good level of English, other European languages advantageous.
•Must be 18 years of age or more and preferably possess a minimum of 12 months VATSIM membership.
•A member in good standing within VATSIM, vACC or VA staff experience would be a plus.
•Expected to take a leading role in VATEUD's web services development.

VATEUD and VATSIM Scandinavia are once again proud to announce it's annual Fly And See Santa Event. Starting at 1800Z on Saturday 15th December we will staff EFRO, ESPA & ENTC including enroute sectors to guide you to the northern part of the globe. Fly from anywhere over the global VATSIM community into EFRO, ESPA or ENTC for one of the biggest events all year!

Last year we had an astonishing amount of aircraft and this year we are preparing for even more traffic, so bring along plenty of holding fuel and your best Christmas wine as we celebrate this year's Christmas with VATSIM's biggest Christmas event!

VATEUD and VATSIM UK are pleased to announce the "VATEUD Full Coverage" event on Sunday 2nd December from 1900Z to 2200Z. 

VATEUD's vACCs and VATUK are all working together to bring you a fantastic evening on VATSIM. All countries will have a minimum of one Center/Control, Approach and Tower in each country, however you can expect much more. This means that all FIR's within Europe will have ATC coverage for at least 3 hours, something we rarely see on VATSIM.

So on Sunday 2nd December from 1900Z why don't you fly within Europe as the whole division and VATSIM UK turns on all it's lights for you.
